Knapp Cottage is a charming farm cottage situated in the heart of an idyllic (but not remote!) area of the Cotswolds. Very much a country cottage, Knapp is a cosy and comfortable holiday home perfect for families, presented with many attractive features and is an excellent choice for a trip to this popular area of the Cotswolds. We absolutely loved the superb choice of things to do at the farm; these include a host of games such as a pool table, table tennis table, tennis court plus a range of farm animals to see. There's even a football pitch and miles of paths for walks or cycling. A semi-detached cottage it is very clean and welcoming and enjoys super views towards classic Cotswolds' fields and countryside. A family option with plenty to keep everyone occupied and good pubs nearby!ACCOMMODATIONEntrance through to small lobby, leading to kitchen and also to main living area.Kitchen , well equipped with gas hob, electric oven/grill, microwave, dishwasher and large fridge/freezer. Living/Dining Room with large sofa and two armchairs, flatscreen TV plus an attractive open fire. There is large dining table enjoying great views with 6 seats.UpstairsBedroom One has a standard (4'6'') double bed plus chest of drawers and wardrobe Ensuite Bathroom with bath, shower over, WC and washbasinBedroom Two with two single beds, (these can be zipped together to make a double bed, please request. There is also a wardrobe with shelving, plus an Ensuite Shower room with WC and washbasin. OutsideThe cottage has an open garden at the front, which looks towards fields and also the tennis court. There is a table and chairs. The cottage sits at one end of the farm, which itslef also offers camping facilities! The owners offer an excellent 'all round' service - there is Farm Shop selling simple produce, including croissants and fresh baked bread, you can even order your newspapers! There is are multiple play areas with swings and climbing frames - you name it! Pool table, table tennis and air hockey. The farms has various animals including chickens, ducks, goats, sheep, horses and a donkey!Cot and High Chair available. Starter Pack of logs supplied. What could be more typically English than the many charming towns and villages nestling in the Cotswolds? That’s what awaits you when you stay at one of our holiday lets in the Cotswolds. It’s the famous local honey-coloured stone that makes the buildings here, whether a tiny cottage or grand manor house, so distinctive and so appealing. Little has changed in many of the Cotswolds towns for more than 300 years, giving them a rare beauty in today’s world, and they are all within easy reach of our any of holiday lets or cottages in the Cotswolds.
Perhaps the most perfect Cotswolds town is Broadway, now a major centre for arts and antiques. Broadway is also well known for its tower, from which it is said you can see 14 counties. There’s also the beautifully preserved Chipping Campden, Bourton-on-the-Water, the “Little Venice” of the Cotswolds and Stow-on-the-Wold, perhaps the best-known of the smaller towns here. But there are countless other charming places to discover as you tour these gentle hills.
The market town of Cirencester, the “capital of the Cotswolds” boasts a very fine parish church as well as the Corinium Museum. This features a fascinating re-creation of life in Roman Britain.
